Death Valley, California- In this satellite view north is to the right. View shows part of southern Death Valley. The Panamint Range is along the top of the slide, with large alluvial fans collased into a continuous Bajada shed towards the valley center. The Black Mountains are seen at the bottom of the photo with small alluvial fans shed to the west. Badwater Fan, seen in other photos here, is the furthest left fan along the east side of Death Valley. Furnace Creek fan, is the farthest right fan along the Black Mountains. The red spot is vegetation of the park center in the false color image.
