Morrison Fm. - Utah

Morrison Fm., Jurassic, Utah- Dark grey units are overbank deposits. White units are sandstones. Thicker units are channel fill deposits (note accretion surfaces stepping down to the right on the right side of the outcrop. Thin white beds are probably crevasse splay deposits. Note these record individual flood events that carried sands out onto the flood plain of the time.
