SEDIMENT TRANSPORT MOVIES

Below are links to movies showing various sedimentary (and some other) geologic processes in action. Note that these are all in QuickTime format. The QuickTime player can be freely downloaded from Apple.

File sizes and run times are shown. A short explanatory text or link accompanies most videos. Most, but not all, videos play at 15 fps or higher, 100 kb/sec or faster. The videos will run best if they are first loaded onto your computer's hard disk. The Quicktime link opens plays the video on a web page. The Download link should directly download the entire Quicktime file to your machine.
